La Galilea per i discepoli era il luogo della vita quotidiana con tutti i suoi alti e bassi. E poi, come si deduce dal detto “Galilea della Genti” (Mt. 4:15) era il luogo dell’incontro-scontro tra culture diverse. Il luogo dove comincia la Missione.

“Hope sees in the seed that you throw today into the earth, the harvest that will grow tomorrow” (P. Mazzolari)

Galilee for the disciples was the place of everyday life with all its highs and lows. And, as can be evinced from the saying "Galilee of the "Peoples" (Gentiles) (Mat. 4:15) , was also the place where many different cultures met and struggled. The starting point of universal Mission.

「わが希望なるキリストはよみがえりたもうた。
ガリレアで汝らを待ちたもう。」

ヴィクティマエ・パスカリ・ラウデス “Victimae paschali laudes”（過越しのいけにえに賛美を）はカトリック教会の聖歌の一つ。中世に多く書かれたセクエンツィアの一つで、復活祭のミサのためのもの。ブルゴーニュ出身で神聖ローマ皇帝コンラート2世のシャプラン（宮廷付き聖歌隊長）であったヴィポ Wipo（活動 1020頃-1040頃）の作とされる。

ガリラヤは弟子たちにとって、故郷であり、生活の場でした。わたしたちにとっても、復活したイエスとの出会いの場は、自分たちの生活の場の中でのことだと言えるのではないでしょうか？ わたしたちは聖書を読み、聖書の中で復活したイエスに出会うのではありません。福音書は昔イエスという方がいたというだけでなく、今もわたしたちの現実の中でともにいてくださる、ということを伝えています。本当にそのイエスを感じること、そこにわたしたちの救いといのちと喜びの源があるのではないでしょうか。さらに、「異邦人のガリラヤ」（マタイ４・１５）という言い方から分かるように、ガリラヤは異文化の出会い（ないし衝突）の場でもあった。福音宣教はそこから始まる。
