For that reason, it would be quite difficult in today's global village to find something naively {pre-Christian} even in world views (in Asia, for example) that have apparently remained the same since pre-Christian times. Quite often they will have absorbed Christian (or at least biblical) elements to show that they do not need Christianity in order to maintain their own claim to totality"

キリスト教に未だに出会っていない世界観と、キリスト教を卒業したと思っている世界観は構造的に類似しているかもしれないが、キリスト教的酵母が全人類に浸透している今は、最も深い志向性としては、本質的に異なるものであり続ける。そいうわけで、今日の世界村においては、単純にキリスト教以前の世界観を、そのように思われている文化の中でさえ(例えば、アジアの諸文化)、見つけることが至難のわざである。逆に、全体的な独自性への自己主張を維持するためにキリスト教を必要としないことを示すために、キリスト教的要素(少なくとも聖書的要素)を吸収しているのはしばしばである。
